Can't tell what Jaguar is going to look like from the tiny pictures on Apple's site?

Now that I've seen a close-up of iChat, I don't think I like it. It seems too confusing and disjointed in the way the bubbles appear left and then right. I'd have to see it in action. And what is the deal with the brushed aluminum look on all the iApps?? I thought that was just a little leftover cheese from OS 9. It screws up the whole Aqua theme to throw in these tin-can looking interfaces. By the way, here is were you can see a magnified pic of iChat:

FYI, keep clicking on the "next image" link beneath the pic and you'll see additional pics of Jaguar features.

Nuclear, I've been asking about that myself. I don't think brushed metal is appropriate for the address book and sherlock. ichat, MAYBE, but those other, heck no.

Brushed metal in Sherlock is okay, but Address Book is hideous.

There should at least be an option to turn it off.

I really like the brushed metal look, it signifies the app is a "speciality" app and I think it just looks nice. Also I think I heard that there is an option to toggle the Aqua/Metal look.

Oh yeah. Heard that, too. I think it is in either Project Manager or Project Builder..I forget which.

I would think that they are real. After all, the developers were given CDs with the Preview Version on them, so its not like someone hasn't seen it, or used it, yet.
