Take a look at this photo of the Dock in Jaguar.

Notice anything?

Hmm...I do: No stripes, maybe? That's right. Apple has removed the stripes from the Dock backround. Whether it's permenant or not, I don't know.

What do you think?

New pics of the 'Digital Hub' preference panes:

blank>'Burn' Pane
blank>'Disks' Pane
blank>'Music' Pane
blank>'Photography' Pane
blank>'Video' Pane

Also...

blank>The New Sharing Pane

edit: I think we have scanner support!! Check out the Photography pane, and you'll see options for what to do when you connect a scanner, and when you press a scanner's button! images/icons/grin.gif

OK, I archived ALL 48 of the screenshots on my site, just in case Apple issues one of their infamous 'Cease and Detest' orders.

Check out them pics.

Is there a new version of IE going to be bundled with Jaguar? I'm getting tired of the current version's slow rendering and haphazard loading of images.

Think Secret says there's a new version of MSIE on the way sooner rather than later. I hope so. I've tried the other browsers, but in the end, I always come back to IE.

And yes, Jaguar looks fantastic. From what we can see, they've made a great deal of progress on it. Hopefully, they'll make a great deal more by the end of summer.

I hope they change the scroll wheel behavior to match OmniWeb (using the scroll wheel in a form list scrolls the list and not the page when the pointer is in the box). I like a more context sensitive scroll wheel.

Oh yeah, and add tabbed browsing.

If you look closely at the large photo of Jaguar, you'll see that the minimized web pages have little IE logos on them.

Either that's a new OS feature (which I doubt) or that's an improvement or update to IE itself.

Anyone want to guess what the Upadater will cost?

My guess 20 bucks but wait for people to demand it for free.

I don't care what they charge as long as they don't say free and then charge $20 for shipping (don't argue that issue with me, I don't give up).

Ooops! Sorry just saw the other rather long post on the pricing, I guess we don't need to wring that topic dry here too.

d00d --

the OS was free as promised, the $20 was only if you needed it shipped to you.
