imac HELP

ok so my imac takes forever to start up than when it does its a blankscreen that reads:
sh-2.05a# UniNEnet: :monitorLinkStatus - Link is up at 100 Mbps- Full Duplex

i dont understand what this means can anybody help PLESE???

Sounds like your machine is booting into single-user mode by default for some reason. Typing "sudo nvram -d boot-args" should turn that behavior off for future boots, and then you can type reboot to get it started normally.
