There needs to be a ham radio-like license for anybody to practice professional punditry, requiring the demonstration of proficiency in the subject.

As well as the ability to send and receive International Morse Code at five words per minute. That'll really keep the riff-raff out.

"…he’s had a whole year to do again what Apple’s done just four times in its entire existence." -- The Macalope

Or put another way, Apple has remade entire markets FOUR TIMES in its existence. How many other companies have even done it twice?

"Sympathy for the MBA" (with apologies to The Rolling Stones)

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year (and I'll grab a golden parachute and my bonus on my way out)
Stole many a mans soul and faith
And I was round when Microsoft (or Rim or Nokia or...)
Had its moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that the board
Washed its hands and sealed its fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
I stuck around Northern Telecom
When I saw it was a time for a paradigm shift

etc. etc.

Well shift it up baby now!
(Shift it up baby)
Shift and doubt!
(Shift n' doubt)

C'mon c'mon c'mon baby now!
(Come on baby)
Paradigm shift when in doubt!
(Shift in doubt)

Pundits said better shift CEO!
(Shift CEO)
N' do it like Ballmer would!
(Like Ballmer would)

No apologies just thanks to da Beatles and da Macalope. And hey Paul if you're ever stuck for a lyric give me a shout

Looks like these guys are on the take from samsung marketing department.

They write craps about Apple to earn their keeps.

Kind of sad, yes a sad life they are living.

Thanks Macworld for this daily partake of Macalope.

"The Macalope is completely unsure why we’re supposed to listen to someone who puts two spaces after a period in this day and age. (Check it. He does.) "

Seriously Macalope? This is the best you got? I guess putting out a daily screed gets tough.
