I will assume that most people use the potential of Apple products to the same degree that they use the potential of their brain, which is on average around 3%. Use your energy to do some innovating.

hhm, I use Apple products each day for rendering films so that they heat up hot like a frying pan. What I'd love to see would be an upgrade to their MacPro line, because now, any Hackintosh done right is faster than their current MacPro's and even their new iMacs.

For the cause of the frying pan just look here, 960GB and 85000 RAW images boiled down to 25000: http://vimeo.com/53845425

cheers
ps: external usb DVD will do it nicely.

For my money, the new iMac totally blows. No upgradable RAM on the 21.5" bread-and-butter iMac? Ridiculous! A new design that looks exactly the same from the front, yet is completely different without any discernable benefit to the user? Equally ridiculous! I actually was as upset at this as you. Then this week, OWC announced RAM upgrade kits for this new iMac that are about $80 cheaper than Apple's upgrades. (http://eshop.macsale...2012_21.5/DDR3L) I ordered the new 27" iMac, and Apple wants $600 for the 32GB RAM upgrade, while OWC wants $195. Needless to say, I went with OWC.

I agree. Hardly anyone upgrades the ram on a 21.5" iMac? Well, then I guess I'm part of a rare breed. Soon after buying my 2010 mid year 21.5" iMac I added 4GB of ram. Making it very difficult to add ram makes no sense to me.
