I can't determine which is more pathetic, the breakup letter or the Macalope response. Thanks for the free trial. Now I know not to pay extra for nonsense like this.

Hey, it's OK. Satire and humor are not for everyone. But for those of us who DO get it, it makes it extra special!

At the very least he could have used a more private venue, such as Facebook or Twitter.

That made me smirk.

With your free trial, why don't you try reading more than one article or is the free trial just an opportunity to express your sour grapes?

Similar to the race to the bottom in the smartphone industry (excluding Apple), there appears a race to the bottom in writing quality.

More and more of what is served up to the masses has been put through the Flesch–Kincaid Grade Level test and what we're left with is 5th-grader drivel such as a break-up note to satiate the Fandroids and aggravate Apple consumers. Ugh.

It sounds like Benedict is just looking for someone who puts a bigger bulge in his pocket.

Next up, deconstruction of a "Dear Android" breakup letter. Oh, wait. Nobody writes those. Not because they don't break up. Because nobody cares.

It didn't occur to either Ben Cooper or the writer of the comment sited here to just depart in peace, rather than make a public display of their displeasure (beggining the question, in both cases, "who cares?).
