I enjoyed The Daily until they started publishing exclusively in portrait mode. Hated it. I like to have my iPad propped up in it's case at breakfast. No way in portrait mode. I planned to let my subscription lapse. Now they have done it for me. Thanks.

The Daily died because they turned right-wing pretty fast after launching. I didn't renew after I counted how many anti-Obama articles and op-eds were included in each issue. It was far from balanced and Apple users seem to be too liberal for such neo-con propaganda. I was also surprised how fast their editor moved from news to tabloid reporting. I deleted the app before my subscription ended because it was just plain garbage.
