I've designed a survey questionnaire in Excel 2011. Some questions are answered by selecting an option from a drop-down menu (combo box). The last option is "Other (specify)". When this is selected, the value of that choice is inserted in a linked cell. So far so good!

I want to set it up so that when the "Other (specify)" option is chosen, a text box appears to type the answer into. I have assigned and recorded a macro to the combo box, but this inserts the text box regardless of which answer is chosen. Is there a way I can make the text box only appear if that option is chosen? Or am I hoping for too much?

Thanks
