[wirerogue]

so i manually copied a bunch of photos from an external drive to the users photo directory.

i then imported them into iPhoto.

can i delete the original photos from the photo directory or is iPhoto still using them?

It depends how iPhoto is configured for that user. Check the prefs to see whether added images are copied or referenced in place.

It depends how iPhoto is configured for that user. Check the prefs to see whether added images are copied or referenced in place.
