My laptop switches from time zone to time zone as it travels with me.
If I turn on Time Zone Support in Calendar preferences the events created when I was in a different time zone shows in Calendar at their local previous time equivalent (i.e. an event supposed to happen when it was created in Los Angeles at say 8pm now shows if I am in France at 5am), as if the event was not traveling with me, but has stayed behind (!). Very inconvenient.
If I don't turn on Time Zone Support it is not better, the whole calendar, I mean all the events shows, switches as I change the clock on the Mac.
And to make things worse if I cheat and keep Calendar on my mac at a different time zone (turning on TZS, choosing a time zone and adjusting all the events for this time zone) I am fine with Calendar on my mac but Calendar on my iPhone changes the time of all the events, putting them on the time zone I am physically.
Is there a way to totally disable Time zone on Calendar so time of events never change neither on my my mac nor on my iPhone ?
Thanks a lot
