Welcome news. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long to get some other features they decided to leave out re-instated.

After I updated to iTunes 11, the "Last Played" column no longer updates anywhere: in Music, in Playlists, in Songs; anywhere. This is very annoying, as I used this column to keep track of unplayed, unrated songs in my library. If it has stopped working, why even include it?

It works fine for me, so it must be something specific to your install.

This is curious. When I left this site, my computer told me there was an update for iTunes 11 to 11.0.1 (I think). I installed it and, lo and behold, the Last Played column is now updating normally. Fascinating.

Well, I take that back! The Last Played column updated for TWO tunes only, and now has quit again. WTF?

Welcome improvements, but still no cover flow, still missing numerous features. Still bland. Staying with 10.7 for the time being.

Hey , i just noticed that when i first open iTunes 11 it does not fit my 20" inch Samsung screen perfectly. (1600x900) and i have to minimize it and reopen it to make it fit correctly, maybe you can sort this little bug out as well.

Thank you

there was a bug w/ iTunes 11 where using the crossfader feature prohibited play counts... that has apparently been fixed...

Still holding out hope that Cover Flow will be restored. Too late for my MacBook Pro, but the Mac Mini in my main music system will stay on 10.7. I've been using iTunes 11 daily on the laptop, and I like some of the new views, but I still find it a huge relief to go back to the Mac Mini running 10.7 with Cover Flow.

Any chance those stability and performance issues will fix the problems many of us have with syncing our large music libraries using iTunes Match?
