You forgot to mention how Austin would have a bunch of former (and current) Dell employees that are probably so burned out that they would welcome the chance to work for a real company. Maybe Michael Dell would be interested in working for an intelligent management team......errr, skip that....he wouldn't fit the environment....he'd probably try to recommend selling the company to pay back the investors or something as stupid.....

Dell needs to sell out. The one and only POS I bought from them was the one that finally pushed me to switch to Mac.

I believe that Dell would be seriously struggling if it weren't for the fact that, for some reason, they seem to be the sole source supplier for computers to the DoD workforce. Maybe other federal agencies as well. That is all I've used for YEARS now in my job.
