Hi, thanks for taking a look.

I've recently set up a vps that I'm able to connect to via remote desktop. (Great )
In fear of having the vps hacked, I want to turn off all possibility of someone hacking the vps and then accessing my mac.

I've turned off the sharing settings on mac/system preferences/sharing and did a test. (which turned out badly...)

I then logged into the v.p.s. via remote desktop, went to the preferences of (rdp) / drives and made a drive on my mac available to be seen by the v.p.s.
I quit out of remote desktop, (so it would potentially show up on the next start up), restarted remote desktop, navigated to the "computer"/drive and sure enough the test folder I created on my mac, along with the files in it, showed up and were readable by the v.p.s.

How do I block this access to my Mac? Am I missing something? I would like to lock down my Mac so access cant be granted from the v.p.s. or any other possible way.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
