I use my MiniPlayer only to be able to, at a glance, keep track of progress in music, podcasts, or syncing of iOS devices. As such, this enhanced MiniPlayer is completely and utterly useless to me.

What you failed to mention is search on mini player only works on local library while search on regular player works on both local AND home-sharing one.

Wondering if you can help me out. I am running iTunes 11 on a PC with Windows 7. My iTunes library is on a D: drive, not a C: drive. When in mini-player, I click on the small album icon . . . and nothing appears.

When I look at my taskbar, it shows a second iTunes window is open with the Artwork Player, but that window never appears to me. I select it, and nothing happens.

I am not sure if it is a Windows 7 issue; a library issue; a settings issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Wow for a mini player pretty cool, I request that iTunes mini player has a configurable option added would be cool.
An option allowing me to substitute the progress bar request, for I would find more useful if the song star rating could be added on to the mini players dash.
But still productive and stealth.

I agree. In fact, i wanted to know - is there a way to get the old miniplayer back (without downgrading)??
