I'm curious, do you know why using the Send to Kindle application for Mac only allows me to send the books or documents to my iOS devices but not my Kindle for Mac or Kindle Cloud Reader?

Even if I log into Amazon > Manage My Kindle > Book Sent > Actions > Deliver to my... only allows iOS devices.

Looks like it's currently a limitation on the Amazon side, see http://www.amazon.co...57226047&sr=1-5 under the section "Kindle Personal Documents Service Fees" in the first paragraph.

If you're working with an ipad or iphone Kindle app, why wouldn't you just send the documents to iBooks, where you have the ability to sort them into categories on separate bookshelves for ease of finding them later. I don't have a Kindle - I just have the apps. I often save PDFs that I don't remember the name of, or I download free knit/crochet patterns that don't have a memorable name, and it would be next to impossible to look them up on the Kindle app without the ability to organize.
