I have not found a definite answer on how to avoid duplicate files when downloading photos from my Canon 5D Markll to my iMac desktop. Shooting in RAW takes up a lot of memory like 28 MB for just one file/photo so duplicate is twice as much. Example: After downloading from camera to Mac this is what one duplicate file will look like in Finder:
IMG_0009@0.CRZ
IMG_0009.CRZ
That's 56 MB for one photo.
I'm hoping is just some type of setting problem. Also deleting the photos are a hassle when Mac keeps on asking for your passwod. I have thousands of photos i want to delete.
Any help would be appreciated.
