The deal breaker is (of course) that it uses the data plan on your iPhone. Non-stop connection for radio or GPS will drain your data plan in a matter of hours. I know, because I just got back from Rome where I used Maps for street navigation. I was only able to use it for three days (with very judicious use) before I ran out of my 300 Gb allotment.

This is the problem with all the new gadgets and services coming out of Apple, CES, whatever. Until we have data plans that allow the use of unlimited data at reasonable prices, all these flashy and helpful capabilities will be relatively unusable.
