Hype is a great program.
Any designer with an idea for their web content can use this app to help them realize their vision.
It is especially good for us non programmers who are sometimes frustrated with the details of writing workable javascript or CSS code.
I find Hype to be a professional tool in the same league as any of the Adobe apps.

This article seems to be a bunch of hype about Hype and reads as a recycled press release. I prefer a hands on test of software/hardware with links to other reviews of similar solutions.
How does this compare to other means to create web animations? Are there signifiant differences in how creations made with it look between browsers. Can one edit the resulting code? Is it a mature program or is it too new with limited capabilities?

The article is especially interesting given the number of Flash elements on Macworld's site -- including on this very page.
