I don't know if this question has been asked before, but I'll try anyway.
I just bought a new iPod Nano, and to save space for the future, I checked the "Convert higher bitrate songs to 128 kbps AAC" setting. However, when I transferred my music to the iPod on this setting, most of the album artwork didn't make the journey. I then had to manually reapply the artwork myself, which was extremely tedious. Does anyone know why this happens? Am I just going to have to tough it up if I am to have my music converted to a lower bitrate?
Also, I noticed something strange as I was going through and adding artwork; the storage space available on my iPod kept increasing. Not by much; the total changed by about 100 MB overall. But it seems counter-intuitive because you would think the artwork would take up space. Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks
