Thank you for calling out people who call devices "sexy." I always thought that was ridiculous. The first time I heard it I was at a technology workshop in 1989. I thought it would have died out by now.

Don't forget, Samsung is presently spending a very large multiple what Apple spends on advertising. And their advertising gets money to ESPN -- like they need it -- and Comedy Central, and everybody else. To some extent, this means that Samsung has grown in sales by throwing money around like a drunken sailor. And some websites and tech journalists are -- shocking -- on the payroll. That is, they receive a lot of money from said company. So their columns now sound a lot like the ads that appear everywhere, including the said websites.

Which is fine, but you know, isn't it always a refrain of the Apple haters that it's entirely a product of, uh, marketing and advertising? And they never call out the other participant of the smartphone market which is making money? And there's no shocking exposes in the New York Times of Samsung's labor practices? I guess that means all of Samsung's devices are assembled either by robots or by unionized workers making a middle-class... Nah, they aren't.

Funny how that works.

"Attention gentlemen of the Internet (and possibly the ladies, too, but it seems to be mostly the men): Just because you spend a lot of time in front of something with your pants off does not mean you are in a relationship with it." Utterly freaking hilarious... and oh-so-true, as well!! Keep up the great work busting the bubbles of so-called "pundits" (with emphasis perhaps on the "dits" part in many cases).
