I purchased Lion 15 months ago, installed it and ran into massive problems, even through 10.7.3. I had to uninstall it and reinstall Snow Leopard.
I need to run iBooks, which can only be run from Lion or Mt. Lion. I've already paid for Lion. However, since Apple has removed it from the App store—AFTER PROMISING TO HAVE WHAT WE BOUGHT ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR RE-DOWNLOAD—where can I get a DMG copy to use and store. I have disks of Mac OS versions all the way back to 8—but not Lion!
Help.

The Lion installer should be available from the purchased items view of the app store presuming you're logged in with your account. You may have to hold down the option key while activating that view to ensure it shows up.
