There are iLounge areas in various halls, I believe -- it's not just one cohesive area -- and there are so many accessories being shown throughout all the halls that it all blends together. It's interesting that the branding is there, but honestly it's all just CES now, in a way it wasn't a few years back. If it were all in a separate hall, and cohesive, I'd feel differently, but other than the fact that the word "iLounge" appears on some signs, it's really not a major part of the show. It's just more stuff at CES.
This was my first CES, but I think that's quite evident. While I found many small, and awesome accessory makers in the iLounge Pavilion, there's TONS of stuff scattered about the show floor. Actually, I found most of the CES "techzones" poorly labeled. HigherEdTech barely existed, and while PMA did contain photo stuff it was so far from the actual camera makers (Canon, Nikon, Polaroid, Pentax, Sony, Panny). The same applied to the MommyTech and Fitness and such.
Tough, I can't really fault the CEA for poor organization...the show is just too huge.
Anyway, there is always going to be lots of neat stuff for Mac users, that aren't even marketed as Mac accessories. Cameras, Printers, and TVs, and even processors as all relevant to Mac users.
On the side note of TVs...has anyone tried plugging in an AppleTV to a 4K TV or monitor? I'd suspect the result is simply upscaled 1080p, but I'd be curious to know if anyone had problems or if there was quality improvement or not.
