In showing a powerpoint program created in Office 2011, portions of previously projected slides sometimes pop up when displaying a new slide. These are slides that were displayed 2 or 3 slides prior to the current slide. On one projector it just showed a little bit of the previous slide on the bottom of the screen. On another projector it showed a much larger portion of the slide more toward the middle of the screen. I am fading from one slide to another. I also am using new software on the laptop, Mountain Lion. Any help will be appreciated.

There is some discussion on issues with PowerPoint Transitions in the Apple Forums (link).

Unfortunately I think it is something Apple & Microsoft are going to have to sort out.

Sounds the only solution is to forego transitions and complain to Apple & Microsoft.
