Problem playing video

Hi. I have just bought my wife a Mac Book Air, but find it won't play .wmv videos. I remember solving this on my iMac as follows:

Download Flip4Mac - and everything works.

But on the MBA it's not! I get a message saying file format not recognized.

The MBA has OSX 10.8 and I have now downloaded Flip4Mac 3.0.0.126 .

Is there something else I need to do?

You could try the VLC Player. It should play WMV files.
