I am looking for a solution to automatically crop multiple pdf files - which will all be cropped exactly the same:
Current Scenario:
1. I save pdf versions of paypal shipping labels to my Mac.
2. These are then opened in Preview.
3. Each one is cropped in Preview using the Command Key + the "K" key to exclude everything in each pdf file but the actual label.
4. A print dialog is then brought up in Preview.
5. I select the "Scale to Fit: Print Entire Page".
6. Switch orientation so that two will fit per page.
7. Change the "Layout: Pages per Sheet" popupmenu to "2"
8. Print.
Possible Fixes Wanted:
Looking to replace Step 3 as I do not want to manually crop each file:
1. Some type modification that allow Preview to auto crop each file. Each file will have the exact same size and location of the area to crop.
2. A separate batch cropper program to run them through prior to printing them with Preview. This program can't downgrade the quality of the pdf so that they appear blurry when they are then opened in Preview.
3. A separate program altogether that will auto crop and then allow one to print two per page.
Whats been tried:
1. Automator - does not work; crops from center only. I frankly hate the interface and the last time I used it it froze my Mac in a endless loop requiring a restart.
2. I can't recall the name of Preview modification / plugin I saw once; however, it did not work.

Found a way to do this in Adobe Acrobat as one can set the left, right, top, and bottom margin and select a whole folder of items to crop in a batch.
