Waiting, and waiting and waiting - for Intel to get the freaking Xeons out that support USB 3 and Thunderbolt!
Get on it Intel! We need three new Mac Pros at work!

Sigh - I just wish they would release a single socket Mac Pro. Having two sockets jacks the price up and has significantly fewer updates

Ivy bridge xeons were released in 2012 in very limited quantity.
Heres the spec page for the E3 ivy bridge.

" ... safety and electrical standards as they relate to electrical equipment "
So what is so unsafe about a Mac Pro that it would need to be pulled off the market / can't pass new approval should a new model with the same case come out?
[edit] According to another site:
“The new requirements necessitate fan guards and some increased protection on the ports on the electrical system,”
We have to protect the children!!!

They'll announce it at WWDC 2013 for a Dec release but won't actually start shipping till Mar 2014 due to a very complicated welding process used to make the corners 0.5mm smaller.

Europe is overwhelmed by rules issued with the pretension of improving safety, but they are, in most cases just a way to force citizens to purchase new appliances. These rules, together with with the environment-related ones, that have made of the EC a veritable eco-dictatorship, are one of the factors of the european economical crisis.
