Hmm - what a good idea. I just tried slipping my iPad inside a gallon zip lock bag and it fits and works perfectly. I already have a little plastic stand for the iPad - works great!

You're pronouncing "composite" incorrectly. The stress should be on the second syllable and not sound like "compost" but rather like com-POS-it.

Likewise, a baggie works great to protect your iPhone from moisture and muck.
