Liquid Damage iPhone?

Hi

Sorry if this is a n00b question. however, how do you know if your iphone 5 has got liquid damage. I think but not 100% sure a droplet or splash of water went into the bottom part of my iphone where the charger is inserted. I do not know for sure though. Its working fine as normal though. Can anyone advise?

Take is to the Apple Store, I think they will be able to tell. If you know how to open her up, and take a look and see. Not sure if they use the paper in there anymore that changes color when wet to let the carrier or the manufacturer know.
