iPhone 4S / OS 6.1: Can't find a way to delete audio tracks, either on the phone itself or with iTunes 11.0.1. Any suggestions?

If you want to delete a song from the Music app on the phone itself, then "swipe" from right to left across the song name in the list and a "Delete" button will appear.

Thanks. That did it. Although I have to say the music app is a bit buggy. About a quarter of the time after I swipe, the delete button appears, then disappears just before I touch it and the track begins playing.

Open the original file, and this time get rid of the other track. If you now hear both languages then you have some work ahead of you. You will have to load this track into an audio editor and hope that one channel is English and the other Japanese. If it is, copy the English channel over the other channel, save, and put this into the video.

I think you are responding to the wrong post, David. But thank you for trying.

Don't you just un-sync them on itunes?

Well, you could just un-synch them, but that would un-synch contacts, bookmarks and other useful things. I just wanted to delete the music, which, by the way, kept starting up spontaneously, playing over phone conversations and GPS audio and running down my battery. What can I say? It's a buggy app.
