Your new issue's articles on security finally prompted me to activate my license for 1Password and get the latest version. Boy, was I disappointed. Very hard to use. Simply does not work at many log-in sites. Often does not even recognize that I am on a log-in page. There must be a better solution.

It is usually a function of how the site does their login function.

I will note that I have been using 1Password for years and can count on one hand the number of sites that did not work well. Of course, the sites I visit could be dramatically different that what you (or others) use.

I will note that if worst comes to worst, you can still open the 1Password application and then just copy and paste the password from the application to the browser if the site's login page does not like 1Password's "auto fill" function.
[soapbox]Back up = good...No back up = bad[/soapbox]

I have exactly the opposite experience. 1Password works for me nearly everywhere... except, ironically, Macworld, which has a completely unpredictable and mostly nonfunctional login window to begin with.

Strange, for me 1password works on Macworld.
The only site I have encountered so far where it doesn't work, is LinkedIn, where I had to go to the extra login page (on the home page it kept filling out the new registration window).
