Hi, I am not an experienced mac user, so I thought my problem would be easy to find an answer to, but it seems I lack the vocabulary to describe it so that google can find me an answer.

I run several virtual desktops on my macbook pro, mountain lion. When I run an app in fullscreen, like Chrome or MplayerX or whatever and leave my computer so the sceensaver kicks in, when I come back and click a button or the mouse to exit the screensaver there is always an automatic desktop switch to my first desktop.
Whats that about? It's very annoying.

Any suggestions?

A brief test with my Air running 10.8.2. did NOT produce the same result...it went back to the full screen that I was on. FWIW, I run at least 5 "desktops" at any one time.

Did you have it set to ask for a password (i.e. locks the screen)? If so, I will have to try that later to see if that changes anything.
