The Macalope: Innovativish

" The evidence is everywhere …
In the birds in the trees, in the clean water that flows from the mountains and, most importantly, in your immortal soul, where you know it to be true."
Another cup of coffee passed through my nose...
"Apple usually makes users wait a year or more for a new version of iOS, and even then some older devices can’t access all the latest and greatest features."
And so its come to this... the Macalope has become so jaded by inanities like this he can't even bring himself to refute something so inherently wrong it should have been written upside down and backwards-other than to say...with existential angst implied-"You're kidding, right?" Face it -this is the anti-reality Apple faces everyday. Foxconn stops hiring and Apple's stock falls even though we've been down this road before and knew it had nothing to do with Apple.
Did I say existential angst? Nah, this isn't Sartre, this is Kafka... And the only good thing about that is I've always thought Henry Blodgett looked like a cockroach waiting to happen.

nothing, but nothing, says innovation like feature creep.
"i'm a gonna take your idea and add me some bells and whistles and lots of people will buy all the "cool" features because, let's face it, the only reason people bought apple was they wanted to be cool. but ours has features! more features! we're innovating features! we feature features!"

Seriously, these guys are now reaching a level just a notch above (or below) a low-priced street-walker.
No effort, no intelligence, make some stuff up and pass it off as analysis, collect a paycheck. Even the street-walker has more self respect than these clowns.

Yeah, she has to actually work for a living, and constantly come up with innovative new ways to satisfy her clientele! So this guy and his ilk are several notches below our hard working girl/woman, in fact I'd say it's more like an abyss than a notch!

I call Inigo Montoya on Steve Kovach regarding his misuse of "innovation": "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means".

Something tells me Samsung's Massive Marketing Budget just found its way to BI and CNN.
This Kovach is just another dancing monkey when Samsung throws a few coins into the cup.
