How do I download the new version? The App Store indicates that I have downloaded it already, I have downloaded previous versions in the last few years but haven't yet downloaded the 2013 version.

Open last year's version (2012) and then go to the Update area of the App Store. You should see version 6 there.

Answering my own question, I hadn't checked to see if there was any new updates for my apps, when I did there was the update for MLB AT Bat fro 2013. Problem solved.

The improvements are worth it. I love that I can use my MLB TV subscription across all the iOS and Android devices I own. Now if they would only do that for Windows Phone.
