Hello, I have an iMac. I bought it 7 years ago. Until, yesterday my internet connection worked fine. It was until te internet connection started slowing down and dropping the signal. So I tried turning off the airport and turning back on. I made the silly decision to try another network. Now, my computer doesn't even log on immediately to my wifi. It doesn't even appear on the listed networks. I looked up other forums, but not much help. Every time I try to connect manually, it say connection timeout. I tried it again, and it sometimes says incorrect password, but its the right password. I have no idea what to do? Please help!!!

When you say you tried "turning off the airport and turning it back on", do you mean turning off WiFi on the computer? Or do you mean unplugging an Airport base station or other WiFi router than then plugging it back in?

In other words, is this a wireless only network that you have access to but don't really control? Or is this an Internet connection that has a WiFi router connected to it that you control (i.e. you own and "control" the router)?
