Last time I looked at PhotoStream, I found two issues that prevented it from working for what I wanted:

1) I couldn't find any way to *remove* a photo from the stream, and

2) I didn't see an auto-update method so that I could just say "Always add photos from this album to the stream."

Was I missing something, or has this changed recently, or should I just look elsewhere? (Using Shutterfly right now, but it's a pain to keep up to date.)

Thanks!

It's really frustrating that there is no great way to share photos from iPhoto/Aperture without creating a duplicate photo. Via Facebook - has faces (yay!) and comments but not full resolution pics. Via local web publishing - duplicates storage, doesn't have "faces" (labels) and implementing comments is a pain. Via Photo Stream - has comments, but doesn't have "faces" nor auto update a photo if you edit it after putting it in a stream. I want: password protection, full res photos (so folks can download at full res), comments, face labels, and photo titles. And I want it all "referenced" from Aperture so I don't have to duplicate storage.

Technical question. How do I subscribe to Macworld Video in iTunes? The old feed no longer seems to work.

iCloud Photo Sharing stinks when it comes to compatibility with older PPC Macs. I have tried numerous times in vain to share photos of my kids with my parents who live in California (my family lives outside he US). I setup everything perfectly in iPhoto on my OS 10.8 iMac, and I then email the web URL to my parents. But they can never get the photos to display in Safari on their OS 10.4 PPC G5 Mac Pro. It's beyond frustrating. It's infuriating. If anyone knows a workaround, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Apple had a great way of sharing pics (Mobile Me Gallery) and has instead moved to this terrible way that hardly works. The directions given ONLY work on an iPad. You have to join or know the URL which defeats the whole purpose.I only converted to Macs in the last couple of years and it hurts to see how they are taking some of the best features and turning them into systems that hardly work and then only if you are already part of the Apple club. I've given on Photostream except for getting pics off my devices and gone to Smugmug. But now there is no good way to show pics on the Apple TV. Its like Apple is trying to drive us away.

The iPhoto Application for iOS enables you to share photos via Journals which is effective, secure and works very well.

Is there anyway to organize (order) photos in a photostream?
