This has never happened before. When I try to transfer some music from my iTunes Macbook (mountain lion) library to the plugged-in iPad, the songs do not transfer.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Have you checked the settings in iTunes for that iPad. For example, have you double checked that under the Music tab under the iPad that the check box to sync music is actually checked?

Thanks for the reply.

Any way to attach an image I took of some of my configurations?

In iTunes, under the iPad tab, Devices, iPad is listed twice, which is something new. Next to one of these iPad listings, there IS a padlock icon, which was not there before. One of these listings says February 21, 2013. The other one has the padlock icon. I know I can delete one, but not sure which.

I don't see the auto sync box anywhere.

You can insert a link to an image file and the image file will show.

Just embed the image link between two IMG tags. Kind of like this:

[img]place link to image file here[/img]

Then all you need to do is upload the image(s) to some image hosting site like Photobucket, etc.

Thanks for the reply. I received a few answers elsewhere, none of which suggested to see if iTunes Match was turned off on my iPad. That was the problem.

Transferring files from one device two another device is become very irritating if the transfer software doesn't support all functionality. Usually this task become very difficult when it has to be done with iTunes. Actually it is an inbuilt tool that comes with iPad and iPhone device to transfer files from one to another. It can transfer files from computer to iPad and Mac device correctly. But some time it fails to transfer files and gives very severe time in that case you can use third party transfer utility to easily transfer files from one to another. All you can do this with the help of iPad file transfer software it is an ideal solution through which you can easily transfer any type of files from computer to iPad and iPad to computer or Mac device.
