You were too easy on Lyin' Lyons. But then, how could one be fair and balanced in a family publication when talking about such a #$%^*bag? B)

I have a friend named Dan Lyons. At first I was suspicious. Then it turns out my friend actually has brains and a Ph.D (not necessarily joined at the hip).

I now declare myself the Fake Fake Fake Steve Jobs.
I invented the friggin Dan Lyons… 'Cause I wanted to

And anyone who ever believed Lyon's Fake-Steve-Jobs blog was a tip-o-the-hat to the company or its founder was deluded. Lyons has always hated Apple and that blog was a thinly veiled diatribe against Jobs from the very beginning.

Lyons did satire well, but just couldn't leave well enough alone. His writings since have been akin to what would happen if Steve Colbert became an AM radio host. It's a different skill set.

All very correct and complete, except Kass should be in prison. Not so funny for him.

A fine list of fools you've compiled here, Macalope.

Well done.

There's only one thing surer than mass acceptance of open source, android's total dominance, iOS riddled with malware, sensible investment advice about Apple and (it goes without saying) Apple's dooommmmm,it's that the same group of drips will be lining up for next year's awards. COMEON PUNDITS. We need fresh meat. The same old meat & three veg is getting tiresome!

Congratulations to Mr. Lyons. It's no easy feat to beat out the likenesses of Henry Blodget for clickbaitness. In fairness, Blodget would have been more competitive if you had given him the full credit he is due for all of the totally useless trash that gets "published" on Business Insider. My heart warmed, though, when I read yesterday that BI lost $12 million last year.

My comment to this years winners is the classic Dilbert remark: I admire your ability to get paid for doing this.
