I upgraded my PPC 8600 to a G4 350 back in the summer of 2000 with a now defunked Newer Tech Upgrade Card. I have tried to install OS x 1.01 on to the computer and it tells me It cannot run on this computer.

Is there a patch I need to install or where can I get assistance with this problem.

I really want to use the new system on my desk top. I have been using it on my Powerbook G3/300 for about four months and I love it.

Thanks for any help you can provide. images/icons/frown.gif

I don't know if this works with Upgarde cards, but there used to be an application called "Unsupported Utility X" that allowed to install OS X on an unsupported machine

Sonnet provides support for installing OS X on some of the processor upgrade cards produced by the now-defunct Newer Tech. See blank>http://www.sonnettec...m/downloads/osxupgrade_sw.html .
