Thanks again Macalope for making my Saturday morning a little brighter. Your exposure of Archie Mariano was delightful, and puts proof to what I've been saying for several years: follow the money. The vast majority of these keyboard jockeys who consistently bash Apple with slanted half-facts (say that quickly) and outright twisted logic, are being paid directly for their efforts. Apple's sales of the iPhone continue to increase, yet so many articles say that Apple's sales are declining. It's a bizarro universe, and the only explanation is that there is a paid-for agenda afoot.

That was one of the best Macalope articles ever. Such a fun read. The most recent buzz is that Apple is looking to make a larger-screened iPhine for next year but as always, we'll see.

What's funny is the same sorts of people who bashed the original iPad because of the ridiculous notion of it just being a big screened phone . . . Without the phone, are now bashing the iPhone screen for not being bigger. "We will release no wine before its time" seems to be Apple's motto.

Yup, iPhone 5S is gonna suck. Apple should've just named it Newton 2, put boards over the windows, and picked out which corner to beg for food on.

Actually, all this delusion has given me an idea for a game the Macalope can include in his articles: Crack, Crown, or Crazy! After each piece the reader gets to vote on whether the pundit was on drugs, booze, or just out of their ever-lovin' skull.

I find Archie Mariano's article odious, abhorrent, and above all, insegrevious. ;). Thanks for the great piece, Mr. Macalope. Happy Saturday!

I also considered calling it Smacked, Jacked, or Whacked.

Here's one easy step to convert an iPad Mini to an iPhabulous.

Download Skype.

Mr. 'Lope,

I think you'll agree with me. Any analysis of Apple's present or future that includes the death of Steve Jobs is garbage.

Any writer who still uses the death of Steve Jobs –¬†two years ago – to illustrate or explain any aspect of the current state of Apple is either lazy or stupid. Probably both.

Tim Cook has been effectively running the company for about five years (maybe more). I don't get angry often, but I'm making a list of pundits to never (NEVER) read again just because they have proven themselves unworthy of my time. Cretins.

My boots were hip in the 70s - Trust me!

I don't trust eCycleBest.com.
Went there and they offer "up to $294" for my iPhone 4S (16GB).
Gazelle.com will offer $190 for one in flawless condition.
Why am I suspicious of the words: up to?

Oh great "Pointy One". Is there some special significance to the redundant "al" in "journalism" in the title?
