What's funny is the same sorts of people who bashed the original iPad because of the ridiculous notion of it just being a big screened phone . . . Without the phone, are now bashing the iPhone screen for not being bigger. "We will release no wine before its time" seems to be Apple's motto.

Actually, all this delusion has given me an idea for a game the Macalope can include in his articles: Crack, Crown, or Crazy! After each piece the reader gets to vote on whether the pundit was on drugs, booze, or just out of their ever-lovin' skull.

I also considered calling it Smacked, Jacked, or Whacked.

I think you'll agree with me. Any analysis of Apple's present or future that includes the death of Steve Jobs is garbage.
Any writer who still uses the death of Steve Jobs – two years ago – to illustrate or explain any aspect of the current state of Apple is either lazy or stupid. Probably both.
Tim Cook has been effectively running the company for about five years (maybe more). I don't get angry often, but I'm making a list of pundits to never (NEVER) read again just because they have proven themselves unworthy of my time. Cretins.

Went there and they offer "up to $294" for my iPhone 4S (16GB).
Gazelle.com will offer $190 for one in flawless condition.
Why am I suspicious of the words: up to?
