We think Touch ID will be on any iPads? It kind of sucks to be used to it on the phone and reflexively try it on my iPad and then think "oh yah".

I hope so, for exactly the same reason. But for my usage, my iPad 2 still works well enough. I was complaining about how iOS 7 made it slow to the point of being unusable. Then, it finally stopped working, so I did a wipe and restore and it's back to being usable again :) Still not as snappy as it was with iOS 6, but responsive enough that I don't think it's worth $550-$600 to update even if a new iPad with Touch ID comes out.

"A lot to cover" is a reference to the new Apple furniture slip covers that will allow you to change channels on your new Apple TV by squeezing your gluteus muscles.

What about iPods? I'm hoping for a new nano with a camera!!! I haven't even heard any rumors about them at all.

They still have a lot to cover. Like the wrist perhaps?

If Apple inrtroduces some new device or innovation, I wonder how many hours it will be before the first pundit, that previously claimed Apple was losing its innovation and needed to come up with something, will claim that Apple took HIS advice.

My stupid iPad 2 is in such great shape and still works amazingly well! I hate Apple! I want a new one! (End sarcasm)

I wonder if part of the "a lot to cover" meaning is a new cover for the iPad that has a keyboard? Similar to the MS Surface idea, but hopefully better.

It seems to me that this coming year is when Apple should push the iPad to a place where it further replaces computers for most people. Solving the keyboard problem is integral to this strategy.

How much will a new iPad Mini cost if there's no debt ceiling deal? I mean, our dollars will be worth just a few pennies each.
