Iphoto problem

Hey everyone,
Can iphoto accept movie modes from cameras like the canon s30. everytime I have a 30 sec movie clip it doesn't read the camera when i plug in the usb adpater. But once i delete the movie clips, it does read the camera.

That sounds odd. iPhoto works well with my Sony even if there are movie clips on the card.
I guess that as a work-around, you could off-load the movies before you import into iPhoto.
