Mac OS 9.2.2 Beige G3
About a month or so ago I received notice of an ipod update in software update. Since it also updated iTunes, I accepted it. However, it won't install. It locks up after the download, and I have to reboot. So I have two related questions:
Anyone have any idea what's up?
And, failing that, is there a way to now say no to this particular update?
Thanks,
-Jim

You could try tossing the copy you now have and then manually downloading it from Apple's website. Perhaps the verson you have is corrupted.

when mine wasn't working, i put it into disk mode so it could connect to the computer, than used the itunes "Restore" option. It fixed everything right up. BTW it is the software that is corrupt. If you just want to get it out of disk mode, hold the play and center buttons.
