I have a sneaking suspicion that someone has been tapping into my work's wireless network. We are using an AirPort base station. Does anyone know how to check if someone has been using our network without authorization? And any suggestions on how to stop them?

If you use WEP, or only allow specific MAC addresses, the they won't be able to (at least without some serious hacking).

With a firewall, you will be able to setup a log, which will show users using your LAN. Or try using your router type the address of you router down into a browser and press enter, then log around for firewall setting and see if it supports logging. I'm not to familiar with apple airport so I don't know if it has this feature.
Then once you get their IP you can bust then or block them
