I've got an iMac G4 and a Power Mac G4 hooked up over an Ethernet network. Is there any way for one to give the other its extra clock cycles?

For general every day usage? No.
For a very large computation project? Yes.
SETI@Home is an example of such a project. They can also be much more localized and Xcode uses Rendezvous to do this with compiling.
