I am currently using entourage for both my personal email and with the server add-in at my office. I am considering switching to the Macmail, address and calendar because i use those to sync on-line and with my phone. my concern is that i will lose networking capability and such and that macmail wont be as powerful as entourage. any thoughts, suggestions?

Why not use both Entourage and Mail side-by-side for a few weeks? That should give you enough information to make a decision whether or not to switch...

I simply mean that you should try out Mail for a while, to see what you think of it, while continuing to use Entourage as your main mail client. No, it doesn't sync itself with Entourage, unless you're using an IMAP mail server (which I do, and which I highly recommend).

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you try Mail for yourself, you should be able to answer the question...

Again, I'm not sure what you mean by "powerful," but if you tried Mail you wouldn't have to ask the question, because then you would know for yourself. For heaven's sake, it's loaded on your computer already...you don't even have to download anything...have you even tried it?
