When I download photos from my Fuji digital camera, the pictures come in without the date stamped on them. Does anyone know if iPhoto has the ability to put the date right on the photo? If not, does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive program that allows date stamping of photos? Thanks.

Do you mean the date ON the actual photo, like a little LED picture printed onto it? I don't know how to do that, but the date the picture was taken is in the EXIF data of the photo, which can be seen in the information panel on the side.
Having the date on the side is far more useful, you can sort by it and name the photos according to the date as well.

Yes, the date ON the actual photo. This is very useful when printing out photos and organizing them in a print photo album. My digital camera does date stamp on the actual photo, but, importing them into iPhoto strips the date off of the photo. The date info is still supplied in the EXIF data, but not ON the actual photo. Thanks.
