Blackberry and the Mac

I am contemplating a Blackberry device to replace my aging Palm. But I cannot find anywhere that says you can sync a Blackberry with a Mac.
Also, if a Blackberry doesn't work. What suggestions would you (my fellow Mac friends) suggest as a replacement for my aging Palm?
