As iTunes (4.6) is on all day long, I liked the advent of the Party Shuffle feature. The ability to choose what will come up next without having playlists. Great. It used to be a random track by track selection; however, now it has gone to alphabetic album by album.
If I wanted to listen to each album that way, I'd have it set to library without shuffle.
The shuffle feature in Party shuffle is greyed out. I hadn't noticed that before, but is it supposed to be? I think it is. Er.
I have tried using another account, even creating a new one. Nada. I have tried deleting the prefs. Nada. Repairing permissions did diddly.
Any ideas?

In case anyone was at all bothered as to how to get rid of this phenomenon. All you do is highlight all of the tracks, press delete and hit OK. Just wish I'd thought of it before /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think it goes by whatever the setting is on the playlist you are accessing, so if you want random, go click random in the library window.

I would have to agree for the most part. The problem is that when I use Party shuffle, I only use the library as a whole and not a playlist. Everything is shuffled as standard on my setup.
