I have an iMac running 10.1.5 and a friend of mine is going to give me his mother's B&W G3 Tower without a monitor. Is there a way to login to the G3 from the iMac so I can see what I'm doing on the iMac's screen?

TIA!

if the other g3 is running someversion of x as well you can start enjoying the whole world of unix via ssh images/icons/smile.gif - which is practical but however text based - else you could go for some kind of vnc for the mac - i rememeber it was available as a server for os 9 - as a viewer on the osx-equipped mac i would recommend "vncthing" - did the job for me.

elmacino & Dr-NiKoN -
Thanks for the replies! I'll check out vncthing and ARD. I'm pretty sure that the tower doesn't have OS X installed, but maybe I can borrow a monitor for it.
