what do you guys think? All coding was done by hand using text edit and images in photoshop 7.0. Flash 5 was also used.

Very nice. I like it a lot.
A few minor suggestions.
1) Lose the splash page.
Every computer sold in the last 4 to 5 years has 1024x768 as the base resolution. I don't know of anyone with a resolution set smaller than that anymore. Every browser in the last several years comes with Flash either pre-installed. And if someone doesn't have it, you simply write the script into the web page to automatically download it (it's quite easy really). And finally, every browser in every commercial computer already has a frames capable browser pre-installed since the late 90's/early 2000's.
There's just no need for that splash page, and it serves to do nothing but slow a user down from getting to your main page. Plus, it's too small to read anyway.
2) About those pictures...
I began by clicking the next photo button, but as soon as I heard the music start, I sat back for a moment to listen, and read more about you... soon forgetting to click "next" again to view more photos. Perhaps having the photos automatically change out every 5 seconds or so would be a nice addition.
Great use of color and layout and other than the two suggestions, if it were my site, I wouldn't change a thing.

Hey thanks for all the suggestions. I did the site for my friend Joe he really makes great music. I was 50/50 on the splase page so i got rid of it. I also changed the html slide show to a more interactive flash movie. Hopefully that flows a little better.
One last thing: Is anyone familiar with stylesheets? I use them all the time and was curious to know if there was a tag that stopped anti-aliasing? For example if you view this site on a pc computer the fonts are very crisp and clean. On my powerbook they are anti-aliased. I know I can adjust the settings on my pb but I was hoping there was another way.
